UFC Fight Night 231 Fight Card: Date & Time For Almeida vs Lewis

The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns this weekend with UFC Fight Night 231, also known as UFC: Sao Paulo and UFC on ESPN+ 89, at Ginasio Do Ibirapuera in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

In the main event of the night, a top 10 heavyweight showdown takes center stage when No. 9 Jailton Almeida takes on former title challenger Derrick Lewis, who is ranked No. 10.

Almeida was initially scheduled to face No. 5-ranked Curtis Blaydes, who withdrew for unknown reasons.

In the co-main event, undefeated welterweight prospect Gabriel Bonfim (15-0) takes on “Danish Dynamite” Nicolas Dalby (22-4-1).

There is also a trio of UFC debutants who will compete on the card with Dana White’s Contender Series alum Victor Hugo (24-4), undefeated Eduarda Moura (9-0), and Nova Uniao standout Kaue Fernandes (8-1) who are looking to make a big first impression.

The UFC Fight Night 231 prelims kick off at 6:00 p.m. ET on ESPN+. The main card will also air exclusively on ESPN+ beginning at 9:00 p.m. ET.
