Terrell Owens has jokes.
It was reported that the Pro Football Hall of Famer was intentionally struck by a car on Monday night following an argument with another man during a basketball game.
The man reportedly drove his vehicle into Owens’ knee, but the former NFL pass catcher did not require medical attention.
Since news of the incident broke, T.O. took to social media to give fans an update.
Owens joked about the incident, posting a video from the game with the caption, “ABOUT LAST NIGHT… I do not own rights to music BUT I DO HAVE A RIGHT TO PROTECT MYSELF. Hope the car is ok!!!”
It’s good to see that Owens is in good spirits and cracking jokes about what could have been a very serious situation.
Owens also told TMZ Sports that everything with his body is fine following the altercation.
No arrests have been made at this time, but police took a report for assault with a deadly weapon. An investigation is ongoing.
