Travis Kelce has been in plenty of headlines over the past few weeks thanks to his budding relationship with Taylor Swift. Most recently, however, it was a new nickname that was getting attention.

Aaron Rodgers was making his weekly appearance on The Pat McAfee Show when he discussed the Jets’ Sunday outing against the Chiefs.

“Our defense played well and Pat didn’t have a crazy game and Mr. Pfizer, we kind of shut him down a little bit,” Rodgers said.

The joke was a reference to Kelce appearing in an ad for COVID vaccinations.

Well, Kelce responded at the end of the week with a brilliant jab, if you will, of his own.

“I thought it was pretty good,” Kelce told reporters. “I mean, with the ‘stache right now, I look like a guy named Mr. Pfizer. Who knew I’d get into the vaxx war with Aaron Rodgers, man? Mr. Pfizer vs. the Johnson & Johnson family over there, man.”

Rodgers plays for the Jets who are owned by Johnson & Johnson heir Woody Johnson, so it was the perfect response to Rodgers’ shot.

We’re going to have to give this one to Kelce for creativity.
