We are officially in the middle of Week 6 of the college football season. Now, before you become sad that we are nearly halfway through the regular season, stay on the pessimistic side of the coin.

This week will involve massive implications for conference standings, as well as one of the biggest rivalries in the sport will be taking center stage.

Big games mean teams would like to look their best.

Here are the five best uniforms that will be on the field this weekend.

5. North Texas

The Mean Green is one of the greatest nicknames in all of college athletics. Naturally, it would make sense for a team with a nickname like this to bring the green menacingly.

North Texas is doing just that when they take on Navy this weekend.

Bringing the best from the black domes all the way down to the perfect clash of green and white. North Texas will at least look the part when they attempt to take their third win of the season.

4. Syracuse

This isn’t the only all-white look that will be making an appearance in the countdown this weekend. However, Syracuse is bringing an absolute clean look to the field when they meet North Carolina on Saturday.

The Orange are coming off their first loss of the season in a 31-14 loss to Clemson last weekend. They will now be looking to take down the No. 14 Tar Heels in what would be considered a massive upset.

3. Oklahoma State

Now, jumping on the opposite end of the spectrum, the Oklahoma State Cowboys are bringing nothing but fire with their all-black look.

There’s always something special in the air when a program has a special night like a blackout. Tonight will be no different as the Cowboys are looking to avoid a 2-3 start to the season when they welcome Kansas State to town.

All eyes will be on Stillwater.

2. Kentucky

The Kentucky football program continues to make massive leaps in its quest for relevancy in the college football landscape. This Saturday, the Wildcats will once again be looking to take that next step.

However, it will be against a team that hasn’t lost a game in over a year.

The Georgia Bulldogs will welcome the Cats to Athens, but Kentucky is coming in with the iced white look in hopes of freezing the deadly dawgs.

No program brings more swag to college football than the Miami Hurricanes. The Hurricanes have long been the gold standard of what is cool in college athletics.

This weekend will be no different, as the team is dropping its ‘Miami Nights’ uniforms. An ode to the popular television show ‘Vice City,’ the Canes are bringing a fresh take to an idea that has been played over and over again.

However, when something isn’t broken, don’t try to fix it. Miami continues to knock it out of the park with this vibrant look.
