Jackson Mahomes, the TikToking little brother of Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes, is most known for his cringe-worthy dances of the sideline while his brother is putting actual talent on display.
But for the staff at Aspens Restaurant and Lounge in Overland Park, Kansas, Mahomes is now known as a disruptive person who is accused of assault by multiple members of the staff.
According to a report from the Kansas City Star, the 22-year-old Mahomes is accused of assaulting a waiter at the restaurant and sexually assaulting the owner, Aspen Vaughn. Mahomes allegedly pushed a 19-year-old waiter multiple times and then forcibly kissed the 40-year-old owner.
Police are investigating the alleged incident and have been reviewing surveillance video.
“He forcibly kissed me out of nowhere,” Vaughn said, “and I’m telling him, pushing him off saying ‘what are you doing?’ and then he proceeded to do it two more times where the last time I was pushing him off and I can see on the cameras that somebody was outside the office door and I was yelling for them to come help because he’s big and massive.”
Mahomes was with a group in the VIP area when Vaughn smelled marijuana coming from the room. She asked the group to stop smoking. She then says Mahomes asked to speak with her privately before grabbing her by the neck and leaving a “faint bruise that is evident in a photograph she provided.”
The attorney for Mahomes denies the claims and any wrongdoing.
“Jackson has done nothing wrong,” Brandan Davies said. “Our investigation has revealed substantial evidence refuting the claims of Jackson’s accuser including the statements of several witnesses. We have reached out to law enforcement to provide the fruit of our investigation so that they may have a complete picture of the matter.”
Police continue to investigate the incident.
