UFC 271 Medical Suspensions: Derrick Lewis Could Miss 2 Months

The Ultimate Fighting Championship returned to pay-per-view over the weekend with UFC 271 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

In the main event, Israel Adesanya was able to get past Robert Whittaker on the judges’ scorecards to retain the middleweight title.

Following the event, the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation announced the medical suspensions for all 28 fighters on the card with two facing indefinite suspensions and Derrick Lewis potentially missing two months.
