Dana White’s Contender Series returned for another season this week as the UFC attempts to find some of the top up-and-coming prospects in mixed martial arts. The season will air weekly on ESPN+.
Season 5 continues on Tuesday night with Dana White’s Contender Series 40. At the end of the night, if any fighters impress UFC President Dana White enough, they will be awarded a UFC contract.
In the featured bout, undefeated middleweights Hashem Arkhagha (6-0) of Jordan and Ohio’s AJ Dobson (5-0) go head-to-head.
Ahead of Tuesday night’s fights, all of the fighters had to step onto the scale at the UFC host hotel for the official weigh-ins in Las Vegas. The fights will take place on Tuesday at the UFC Apex.
