Dallas Cowboys star running back Ezekiel Elliott is under investigation by authorities in Texas.
According to TMZ Sports, Elliott’s Rottweiler escaped his home in Frisco, Texas on Thursday morning before it began attacking his neighbors.
The dog allegedly bit two people who were treated at local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
Elliott’s dog previously attacked people in March 2020.
From the report:
Cops say when they arrived on the scene, they were able to secure the dogs … and put Elliott’s Rottweiler into a mandatory 10-day quarantine after they determined it had done the biting.
Cops say they’ve launched an investigation into the incident, and charges could be coming depending on the findings of the probe.
The woman who was attacked in March 2020 sued the Cowboys star over the incident which resulted in gruesome cuts to her forearm. She is asking for $200,000, though Elliott’s attorney denied any wrongdoing.
That case is still playing out in court, while the latest incident could result in charges for the star running back.
