Rob Gronkowski is going through the final preparations for Super Bowl 55 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida on Sunday, February 7, but he took some time out of his busy schedule to deliver an epic surprise to four very deserving people.
The Buccaneers star tight end surprised four local healthcare workers who have been battling the COVID-19 pandemic on the front lines with tickets for the big game.
The lucky workers were nurses Mandy Mueske, Belinda Spahn, and Woody Nixon, along with AdventHealth infection control manager Heather Stegmeier.
A total of 7,500 vaccinated healthcare workers will be attending Super Bowl 55 between the Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs.
Attendance for the Super Bowl has been capped at 22,000 fans.
