Simply devastating. There is no other way to put it. Alessio Di Chirico entered his main card bout against Joaquin Buckley, who had the knockout of the year in 2020 and became a viral sensation, as an underdog.
However, Di Chirico had other plans for the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s debut on ABC.
Di Chirico spent the early moments of the fight backing away from Buckley’s attack, before uncorking an incredible headkick that landed right on the button.
Just like that, Buckley collapsed to the mat before receiving some follow-up punches to give Di Chirico a stunning knockout win that will be on the highlight reel for the entire year.
