Is it happening? Is Bill Belichick possibly thinking of bringing in Bert Bielema as his new defensive coordinator to replace Matt Patricia? Is this the big audition for Bielema? At the Alabama Pro Day? My god, the football world would come unglued if Belichick formed an alliance with bad boy Bret.
What other reason is there for unemployed Bert to be at the Bama Pro Day?
Just scoutin’ for the fun of it? Butch Jones already got the Lucky Dog free agent contract from Nick during the offseason that is given out to a fired college coach that gives up his left nut to be on Nick’s staff. Butch knows this is his way back into coaching — probably at FIU when Lane leaves — and Bert appears to be the odd man out.
