You know how football coaches like for their teams to get a good night of sleep before a huge game? Well, the Steelers were up at 3 a.m. this morning because the fire alarm went off at their Boston hotel. My favorite Pittsburgh sports anchor, Richie Walsh, reported at around 3:40 a.m. that alarms were going off for about 30 minutes before guests got the all clear to go back to bed.
The timeline suggests that the alarm went off at 3 a.m. and things had settled down by 3:30. Not bad. About 12 hours from kickoff.
ESPN says a 25-year-old Boston man was arrested for pulling the alarm and jumping into a car, but the alarm puller and his boys were quickly picked up by cops.
Let’s play some football!
