Most of the public probably doesn’t believe in Tim Tebow doing much for the Mets outside of ticket sales, but there are some vocal believers out there. There’s Gary Sheffield (said Tebow has “IT”), Josh Donaldson (called him a left-handed Jeff Bagwell), David Aardsma, and, of course, Skip Bayless.
Tebow has big-leaguel left-handed power. Can he hit big-league pitching? Hardest thing to do in sports. Wouldn't bet against him.

Slugger Frank Thomas is also on Tebow’s side, as he went on FS1 today “willing to bet” the former Florida quarterback makes it to the Big Leagues. He also took a dump all over the “bad” players in the minor leagues:

Strong stuff from Frank. We’re guessing he doesn’t think Tebow taking off days to work at ESPN isn’t a big deal.
Tim Tebow keep up the good work!! Prove them wrong @TimTebow
