Top 3 Tyreek Hill Trade Deadline Landing Spots to Watch

Tyreek Hill’s tenure with the Miami Dolphins appears to be winding down despite his elite talent. After two seasons that yielded zero playoff victories, the relationship between the speedster and Miami seems increasingly strained.

The Dolphins revealed their six team captains on Monday, and Hill’s name was noticeably absent from the list. It’s a telling development for the five-time first-team All-Pro, who burned bridges with teammates last season when he seemingly checked out during Miami’s final game. His post-season comments only fueled speculation about his desire for a change of scenery.

NFL teams are keeping a close eye on Hill’s situation. Though his impressive streak of 1,000-yard seasons ended last year, he remains one of the game’s most dangerous weapons when motivated.

Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers might be an ideal landing spot for Hill, especially as they prepare to navigate a brutal late-season schedule featuring matchups against the Bills, Lions, Bengals, and two against the Ravens. If Pittsburgh is in contention by November’s trade deadline, GM Omar Khan could look to add a game-changing receiver for Aaron Rodgers.

Khan’s already shown his willingness to make deadline moves.

The Steelers and Dolphins front offices have a working relationship, having previously completed deals involving Jalen Ramsey, Jonnu Smith, and Minkah Fitzpatrick. Last season, Pittsburgh added Mike Williams in a deadline swap with the Jets, demonstrating Khan’s aggressive approach to midseason acquisitions.

Buffalo Bills

Josh Allen may have the MVP trophy on his shelf, but his receiving corps leaves much to be desired. Khalil Shakir is attempting to establish himself as Buffalo’s top target, while Keon Coleman, Dalton Kincaid, and Joshua Palmer round out a group that lacks star power.

The Bills did bring back Gabe Davis on Monday, but he’s working his way back from a knee injury and wasn’t exactly consistent during his previous stint in Buffalo. Sean McDermott’s squad could desperately use a proven playmaker like Hill if they hope to finally break through for a championship run.

The biggest hurdle? Miami would have to stomach trading their star to a division rival — something teams typically avoid unless the compensation is substantial.

Denver Broncos

Sean Payton guided rookie quarterback Bo Nix to a playoff appearance last season, but Denver’s receiving room lacks a true number one option. Courtland Sutton is their most established wideout, with young talents Marvin Mims Jr., Troy Franklin, and Pat Bryant still developing.

Adding Hill would give Nix an elite target and potentially help the Broncos keep pace in an AFC West dominated by Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. Hill’s familiarity with Kansas City would add an interesting subplot to those divisional matchups.
