A news conference to promote the bout is set to take place next month.
Ngannou is 0-1 in his boxing career after the close decision loss — where he knocked down Fury. Joshua, meanwhile, is 27-3 with 24 knockouts and coming off of a December 23 fifth-round TKO win over Otto Wallin.
Joshua is currently riding a three-fight winning streak. His last loss came on August 20, 2022, when he lost the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight titles to Oleksandr Usyk by split decision.
