More and more states in the US have decided to allow sports betting, and today 28 states, as well as Washington DC, are allowing betting in some way. Betting has quickly become a national interest that is now talked about frequently on social media with more and more Americans are using sports betting as a way of adding some extra excitement when watching their teams play.

Different states have different rules regarding betting on sport
Even while more than half of the states in the United States have legalized betting on sports, all states have different rules. What will the future hold?
Whether or not betting will be legalized nationwide, is a question that is more or less impossible to give a straight answer to at this time. There are several upsides to allowing betting, with the biggest benefit being taxes. The tax revenue that betting can generate is a lot, and it can open up investments in other areas of the economy. At the same time, gambling can become a difficult issue for some and bring problems with addiction and the like.
