LAFC star Kellyn Acosta was the victim of a home robbery.

According to a report from TMZ Sports, Acosta’s home in the Los Angeles area was broken into and burglarized last week. Despite “rummaging” through the house, the only thing that appears to have been taken from the home was three Rolexes.

No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing, with police considering the possibility that the robbery was an inside job.

The 27-year-old Acosta began his career with the FC Dallas Development Academy when he was just 14 years old. He had committed to the University of Maryland, but ultimately became a homegrown signing for FC Dallas where he played until 2018. Acosta was eventually traded to the Colorado Rapids.

Last season, Acosta joined LAFC and started 28 games for the eventual MLS Champions, scoring two goals. He was also a member of the United States men’s national team that advanced to the Round of 16 of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
