The 2022 Dubai Open, also known as the Dubai Tennis Championships, continues on Wednesday with an action-packed day at the Aviation Club Tennis Centre in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The tournament is a WTA 1000 event.
Today, all of the women’s Round of 16 matches take place with the action spread across Center Court and Court 1.
The top players remaining in the field are No. 1 seed Iga Swiatek, No. 2 seed Aryna Sabalenka, No. 3 seed Jessica Pegula, and No. 5 seed Coco Gauff. Defending champion Jelena Ostapenko, the No. 13 seed, is also still in the mix as she looks to defend her title.
Pegula and Gauff will also be playing in the women’s doubles quarterfinal on Wednesday, as the No. 1-seed pair looks to bring home another doubles title after winning it all a week ago at the Qatar Open.
The matches will begin bright and early in the United States with the first match scheduled for 3:00 a.m. ET as the action rolls through the entire morning.
