ONE Championship took the next step in growing its ever-expanding fan base on Friday with ONE on Prime Video 1, making the promotion’s debut on Amazon Prime Video.
The event featured a mixture of world-class mixed martial arts and Muay Thai bouts, and it absolutely delivered.
In the main event of the night, ONE flyweight champion Adriano Moraes took on former UFC flyweight king Demetrious Johnson for the title. While both men had their moments through the first four rounds of the fight, it was Johnson who was gaining steam as the fight went on.
That’s when “Mighty Mouse” stunned the crowned with an electric barrage of punches that was capped off by a flying knee knockout to claim the ONE Flyweight World Championship and avenge his previous loss to Moraes.
In the co-main event, ONE bantamweight Muay Thai champion Nong-O Gaiyanghadao faced off against 8-time Muay Thai champion Liam Harrison.
