Season 6 continues on Tuesday night with Dana White’s Contender Series 49. At the end of the night, if any fighters impress UFC President Dana White enough, they will be awarded a UFC contract.

In the main event of the night, super prospect Bo Nickal faces off against Zachary Borrego in a bout that was initially scheduled for the 185-pound division but will now be a catchweight. Nickal was a three-time NCAA Division I national champion in wrestling during his time at Penn State. He finished his collegiate wrestling career with a record of 120-3, going an undefeated 30-0 in his junior and senior years.

In the co-main event, heavyweights Jamal Pogues and Paulo Renato Jr. face off.

Other bouts on the main card include Erik Silva vs. Anvar Boynazarov at featherweight, a flyweight scrap between Edgar Chairez and Clayton Carpenter, and the night’s opening bout in the strawweight division between Sandra Lavado and Karolina Wojcik.

Ahead of this week’s event, all 10 fighters had to step onto the scale for the official weigh-ins with one-half of the main event coming in 1.5-pounds over the middleweight weight limit..
