Ex-UFC fighter Mark Munoz is in some hot water at his job at Fairmont Private Schools in Anaheim, California.
Munoz serves as the school’s wrestling coach and was placed on administrative leave for reportedly allowing students to squash an argument by boxing each other, according to TMZ Sports.
After one of the parents found out about the showdown, they went to the school administration to file a complaint.
The 44-year-old Munoz accepted the job in September 2020.
And while he is officially on administrative leave, he will not be returning to the job. According to a school spokesperson, Munoz’s contract will not be renewed at the end of the school year.
During his professional mixed martial arts career, Munoz recorded a record of 14 wins and 6 losses with fights. In his last appearance on May 16, 2015, Munoz picked up a unanimous decision win over Luke Barnatt in Pasay, Philippines.
