The 2022 Miami Open continues on Monday afternoon with an action-packed day at the Hard Rock Stadium tennis complex in Miami Gardens. All eight of the women’s singles Round of 16 matches will be taking place throughout the day.
It has been an upset-filled tournament leading up to this stage, with just four top 10 seeds remaining in the field.
The top-seeded woman remaining in the field is Poland’s Iga Swiatek, who is set to become the new world No. 1 when the updated rankings are released. Swiatek will be taking on No. 14 seed Coco Gauff on the main court in the afternoon.
Other stadium matches include Naomi Osaka vs. Alison Riske, and Paula Badosa against 16-year-old Linda Fruhvirtova who has been on a Cinderella run.
