MMA referee Scott Marhardt has a hell of a chin on him.
Marhardt was officiating a semifinal match between Ireland and Mexico at the IMMAF Super Cup 2022 Semi Finals in Bahrain when he misjudged where the Mexican fighter was going.
As the Mexican fighter went for a rolling thunder kick, Marhardt stepped right into the path of the kick over the top and took it straight to the dome.
Naturally, he was stunned and fell directly to the mat.
Marhardt showed off his toughness, though, and was able to shake off the cobwebs and finish officiating the bout.
Unfortunately for Team Mexico, Ireland would go on to edge them and advance to a spot in the finals where they will face the winners of Bahrain vs. Kazahkstan on Saturday.
