The Ultimate Fighting Championship returned to action last weekend with UFC Vegas 47 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

In the main event, Sean Strickland earned an impressive unanimous decision victory over Jack Hermansson.

Following the event, the Nevada State Athletic Commission handed out the medical suspensions for every fighter with eight fighters facing potential six-month layoffs.

Headliners Hermansson and Strickland, however, avoided any lengthy suspensions.
