UFC Vegas 31 Results: Makhachev Dominates, Miesha Tate Victorious In Return

The Ultimate Fighting Championship returned to the UFC Apex on Saturday night for UFC Vegas 31.

In the main event of the night, Islam Makhachev lived up to his status as the heavy favorite with an impressive win over Thiago Moises. Makhachev controlled the fight before scoring a fourth-round submission victory via rear-naked choke.

In the co-main event, Miesha Tate made a triumphant return to the cage after a five-year layoff by scoring a third-round TKO win over Marion Reneau, who was set to retire following the event.

When the night was all said and done, six fighters earned $50,000 performance bonuses. Tate, Mateusz Gamrot, Rodolfo Vieira, and Rodrigo Nascimento earned 50gs for finishing their fights, while Billy Quarantillo and Gabriel Benitez picked up $50,000 each for Fight of the Night.

UFC Vegas 31 Results

The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns on Saturday, July 24, with UFC Vegas 32 featuring a main event bout between Cody Sandhagen and former bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw.

The promotion will then wrap up a busy month on July 31 with Uriah Hall vs. Sean Strickland as the headliner of UFC Vegas 33. Both events will be held at the UFC Apex.
