The NBA season has barely started and we already have a clear MVP and her name is Sarah McDonald and she is also known as Evan Turner’s new girlfriend. This is the girlfriend that Evan Turner wanted to “play basketball with them double D’s.” Turns out that Sarah was at Thursday’s Trailblazers opener against the Lakers to see Evan play with a basketball instead of the double Ds.
Whatever Evan was doing during the offseason with the double Ds, it appears to have paid off in the opener. He had 13 points on 5-of-8 shooting, had 6 assists and 3 rebounds.
I’m telling you right now, Evan Turner is poised for a huge year thanks to the real MVP, Sarah McDonald and those double Ds.
