Chris Berman has been in Buffalo this week for a Buffalo Hall of Fame fundraiser and Thurman Thomas was nice enough to let Boomer circle the wagons and take Thermal’s wife to the fundraiser dinner with him. That’s right, Patti Thomas accompanied Boomer to a dinner where he was also honored with a “Chris Berman Day” in Buffalo designation.
That said, Thermal clearly didn’t want Patti to forget that Thermal’s in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and not to fall in love too much with Boomer. You can’t really blame Thermal here. Boomer is clearly Mr. Steal Yo Girl, especially in Buffalo. Slow your roll, Patti.
Of course Thermal is just joking around. Boomer lost his wife to a car accident just over a year ago, just months after Boom’s ESPN run came to a close. Rough times. That’s why it’s great to see guys like Thermal have some fun with Boom. The guy needs all the cheering up he can get.
