Nashville, Tennessee has emerged as the favorite to host the 2019 NFL Draft, per @AdamSchefter.
Makes sense after seeing how #Titans fans came out for the teams jersey reveal last month. Incredible stuff.pic.twitter.com/qxWQVwpvu7

See that crowd right there? That’s the crowd that showed up to damn jersey reveal last month. For the Titans! Have you paid attention to the scene in downtown Nashville during the Predators playoff runs these last two years? It’s been absolutely bananas. They play a game 7 tonight at home and you can bet your ass that Broadway is going to be a shitshow. It’s a guarantee.
So these reports coming out that Nashville is the favorite to host the NFL draft next year make total sense. This is the biggest no-brainer ever. Philly set the draft bar to a level that may never be reached in 2017, but Smashville is a city that has the chance to top it. It’s one of the best cities in America.
Nashville has emerged as the leading contender to host the 2019 NFL Draft, per league sources. A decision is expected to be announced during the league’s spring meeting May 22-23 in Atlanta.

Even in the unlikely event that Nashville were to lose out on the 2019 NFL Draft, it would be in prime positon to then host the 2020 Draft. But 2019 in Nashville is looking increasingly likely, per league sources.

Think about it. The weather will be nice and not too hot yet, and there’s 10,000 bars to choose from on Broadway alone. It’s literally the perfect environment for a draft weekend. Put the stage outside like they did for the jersey reveal, let people bar hop while the draft is in progress, and let these hammered animals boo Goodell ’til the cows come home.
It sounds like this is pretty much already a done deal, which is good, because like I said, this is the no-brainer of all no-brainers. Shit is going to get weird next year.
