Most people don’t want to talk about their old flames, but that doesn’t appear to be Lindsey Vonn’s game. She’ll answers questions related to her past relationship with Tiger Woods, and recently did so for a Sports Illustrated Winter Olympics piece.
Once again, she maintained that two are still friends, and, like the rest of us, hopes Tiger is BACK for real this time:
Vonn is asked if it was a good idea to date such a famous—and infamous—man. “I mean. . . I was in love,” she says. “I loved him and we’re still friends. Sometimes, I wish he would have listened to me a little more, but he’s very stubborn and he likes to go his own way. I hope this latest comeback sticks. I hope he goes back to winning tournaments.”
It was all very public. “It’s hard enough to break up with a boyfriend,” says Lindsey’s sister Karin, “without having to issue a press release about it.”
You might remember Lindsey reached out to Tiger after his DUI arrest last May. The two dated for three years before breaking up.
