Keith Hernandez Throws All the Shade at Hansel Robles

Believe it or not, Mets reliever Hansel Robles has done fairly well since he choked away that game against the Rockies earlier this month. In case you don’t remember, it’s the outing where he went full Rick Ankiel and lost a game by airmailing a 3-2 pitch with bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth:



For real, he’s only allowed one run in 13 2/3 innings since that catastrophe at Coors Field… but that didn’t stop Keith Hernandez from burning him during Sunday’s game against the Nats. As you can see below, the former Met couldn’t help but take a shot while discussing poor Hansel’s Players’ Weekend nickname:
