Here I thought last week that unemployed former NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel was looking like he was ready for a comeback. He was starting to look less dead. He’s been fairly quiet on Snappy Chatty, which seemed to indicate to a Manziel expert like myself that he was getting it all together to make a run at getting signed for the 2017 season.
Now comes this report from a mom on a Southwest flight to Dallas. If there’s anyone who can see through the bullshit, it’s a mom. Ask Ryan Lochte’s mom. Mom just knows when something isn’t right with a youngster.

Maybe all is still not well with Johnny. Now the big football question of the fall is whether Johnny will show up for the Heisman ceremony in December. Will he show up at A&M games like the old high schooler who can’t give up the old days? Will he go nuts partying in College Station at some point this fall? Will he get the diet & training regimen in order before it’s too late?
So many questions this fall.
