It’s going to be a busy day of U.S. Open tennis for the BC office tomorrow. We’re obviously checking out Nicole Gibbs (learn more about her here), reader-favorite Genie Bouchard, and a British faceoff between Laura Robson and Naomi Broady.
The 22-year-old Robson is currently ranked 254th in singles play but she’s looking to make some noise after dealing with a career-threatening wrist injury suffered in 2013. She beat Tatjana Maria in a qualifying match to earn her match against Broady.
