More details on Steve Wynn’s new lagoon project
Robin Leach caught up with Steve Wynn this week to talk about the new massive lagoon that’ll be created behind the Wynn resort where the golf course is now located. The vision is insane, but it’s Wynn we’re talking about. “Robin, you and I will go waterskiing or parasailing. The lagoon will be about the size of almost 100 Olympic-sized swimming pools or 30 football fields,” laughed Steve. “I want the crystal-clear waters and white sand beaches to remind of the South of France. There will be windsurfing, sailing, swimming and paddle boarding.” Wynn also wants an island in the middle where private parties would be held. A tunnel would allow workers to move underwater to bring in supplies. I’m in. I need to see this in the desert.
