Top NFL Free Agents 2016: Quarterbacks

The 2016 NFL quarterback free agent class just might go down as one of the worst in NFL history because Sam Bradford is the top name on the list and, as of the weekend, the Philly media was claiming that Bradford’s days in town are over after just one season behind center for the Eagles. Is Kirk Cousins the best free agent quarterback available in 2016? It’s looking that way.
ESPN reports that the Redskins want to sign Cousins to a contract and that deal could earn him $18-$20 million. He’ll get that money after 25 career starts and an 11-14 record.
A couple of names not on the free agent list, but will still have huge interest from the fan level, are Colin Kaepernick and RG3. There have been rumors that Kaepernick could land with the Jets and RG3 with the Cowboys, especially now that Manziel might have court issues to take care of.

The 2016 NFL free agency period starts at 4 p.m. on March 9.
