It appears to be all over. The run of Steven “Stingray” Ray as the face of Mississippi State fans on the Internet apparently came to an end Saturday night after Bama fans bullied Stingray into an early retirement after beating up on the Bulldogs, 31-6, on CBS.
According to this Facebook post from Stingray, a Bama graduate, Bama fans were ruthless enough to end the cowbell-shaking fun.

Love this play from Stingray. Get beat, take a beating from Bama fans, say you’re going to retire the act and then get so much sympathy from around the SEC that you reconsider and come out of retirement less than 12 hours after retiring.
