Matt Harvey almost had a storybook Game 5 World Series performance. Eight scoreless innings, an impassioned speech to Terry Collins to close it out… and, of course, it all goes to shit thanks to the frisky Royals.
Suffice it to say, it will be a long offseason for Harvey, but it looks like he’s getting over it the best way he knows how: continuing his journey to be the new Derek Jeter.
According to Page Six, Harvey took his mind off things at a Vogue afterparty Monday with Victoria’s Secret model Devon Windsor:
The hunky Amazin’s hurler, 26, was spotted Monday at a swanky CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund afterparty at the trendy Gordon Bar at Sixty Soho with the 21-year-old stunner.
A spy says the passionate pair arrived together but split the celeb-packed soirée after just 45 minutes.
“She was on his arm most of the night,” said the witness. “It seemed like Matt was there with Devon as his date. They were sipping cocktails and were with each other the entire time and left together.”
Gotta love Harvey for trucking through this difficult time with another hot girl. Pretty soon he’ll have his own fashion model dating diamond just like his idol.
