I would imagine football practice for kickers to be the most laid back thing ever. You stretch, joke around with the punter about how little you have to do, kick field goals (obviously) and maybe work on some onside kicks. Honestly, it’s the ideal football life.
However, that cool atmosphere could be detrimental for young kickers once the lights are turned on and rowdy fans start calling you a choker. That’s why Clemson brought the in-game noise to practice by having the entire team yell during freshman kicker Greg Huegel’s Wednesday practice session:
