Teen Named Brett Favre Is Pretty Much A Moron When It Comes To Football

There’s a story that got lost in all the Brett Favre hoopla late last week that needs to be addressed by the national blogging community because it’s preposterous to believe that a teen named Brett D. Favre doesn’t know how to put on a football jersey. So teen Brett, who is from Nebraska, was in Green Bay last week with fellow missionaries. The group took a tour of Lambeau, somehow ran into a local reporter who interview teen Brett and went to the gift shop to try on a Favre jersey — backwards and on camera.
And it gets better. There are Bears fans that won’t talk to teen Brett Favre because of his name. Kinda feel bad for the kid. Doesn’t know how to put on a jersey, is named after a guy who sent out a dick pic that went viral and Bears fans pretty much hate him. What a life!

Dad explains why, on July 4, 1997, he gave his son the name Brett:

“We both liked the name Brett to begin with,” John said by phone from Omaha on Wednesday. “So, it was pretty easy at that point, and we thought it would be kind of cool. I liked the Packers (then), but I’m more of a Brett Favre fan, obviously, because of my name.”

They also just might be family.

“I am sure that we are related to him in some capacity because my father was from the South,” said John Favre, citing 45-year-old Brett Favre’s Mississippi roots.

Something smells real fishy about this whole story. So who tipped off the local newspaper that some kid named Brett Favre would be at Lambeau? The paper just happened to have the video team at the stadium and ran into the kid? Just out of the blue?
And they they found some garage to serve as an interview backdrop? Something tells me that the parents are behind this whole thing. The kid acts like he doesn’t know what’s going on, the paper has a video crew in his face. It all seems too fabricated.
Nice try, Green Bay media.
