Thanks to Gameday Traditions, the tailgate experience will never be the same — at least at the collegiate level. Georgia Southern University announced Thursday that they had teamed up with Gameday to offer fans the “Ultimate Suite” experience, which is basically code for TAILGATE MANSIONS!!
Trust me, you’ll stop saving up for a crappy bus once you read the amenities being offered (via Gameday Traditions):
- Five (5) Flat Screen HD Satellite TVs (2 In Suite, 1 In Restroom, 1 Front Porch, 1 Built-In To Outside Wall)
- Hardwood Floors, Granite Countertops, Stainless Steel Appliances
- Universal Touch Screen Entertainment System
- Refrigerator, Microwave, Warming Drawer
- IPod Docking Stations, Electrical Outlets
- Pass-Through Kitchen Window To Outside Grilling Area
- Exterior Beverage Refrigerator Mounted Outside Of The Unit
- Pre-Connected Propane Grill Ready For Your Outdoor Cooking
- High End Outdoor Tents And Furniture
- Exterior Lighting, Sound System Speakers, Water Spigot
It also looks like it won’t just be Georgia Southern getting the Ultimate Suite experience, as Gameday Tradition’s website is reserving suites in Ann Arbor for Michigan games.
However, I must pump the brakes on the hype train as there is one caveat: your part will have to come up with $5,000 per game. Is that price worth no setup, concierge and security? Take a video tour and judge for yourself:
