Just a week after getting ejected for fighting Alex Len, Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside was it again Monday night against the Celtics.
During the third quarter, Whiteside took exception to Kelly Olynyk placing his hand on him and lashed out with a little elbow. That offense didn’t earn a stoppage of play, but the blindside hit to the back and neck area of Olynyk sure did.
Whiteside was assessed a flagrant-2 foul and was tossed, raising his fine total to an impressive $40,000 on the season—per Ira Winderman.
With that Whiteside's second ejection of the season, the fine is $4,000. He is now up to $40,000 in NBA fines this season.

(Keep in mind that Whiteside was signed in November and has only played in 34 games this season.)
