Baseball nerds, now is your chance to get in on a unique piece of baseball history—a 1994 Buick Century once owned by Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson.
Pederson, 22, was drafted out of high school by the Dodgers in the 11th round of the 2010 MLB Draft, which basically means he was underpaid and had no choice but to drive a piece-of-shit Buick around. Luckily, when he was driving this thing he was in Albuquerque so no one really gave a f—.
The Dodgers promoted Pederson in September, so the kid is probably feeling pretty good and wants a new set of wheels to pick up the super down to earth ladies of LA.
The Buick, nicknamed “Little Chucky,” is currently going for $1,200 on eBay (no auction). More details according to the listing:
You are bidding on a car owned by current Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson. He drove this car while he was playing for the Albuquerque Isotopes during the 2014 season. Its in pretty used condition with high mileage at 167,000 plus miles. This car was given away at the end of the season. He drove it around Albuquerque during his record breaking year at Triple A Albuquerque. He was the first person in 80 years to hit 30 home runs and steal 30 bases in at season in the Pacific Coast League. If you Google the giveaway you’ll find great news and video clips of the car and Joc Pederson describing the vehicle. He put approximately 700 miles on it according to the car title. He put over $800 dollars of maintenance into the car as follows: Intake Manifold Gasket, Front and Rear Brakes to include bleeding. Rotors were resurfaced.
