Tori Bowie, an Olympic gold, silver, and bronze medalist for Team USA, was found dead in Florida on Tuesday, according to a statement from her management team.
Bowie was just 32 years old, and the cause of death remains unknown at this time.
“We’ve lost a client, dear friend, daughter and sister,” Icon Management said in the statement. “Tori was a champion…a beacon of light that shined so bright! We’re truly heartbroken and our prayers are with the family and friends.”

Bowie was a standout track and field star at the University of Southern Mississippi, winning tw national championships, before turning to the Olympics.
At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, she won gold as a member of the women’s 4×100-meter relay team, silver in the 100-meter dash, and bronze in the 200-meter dash. Bowie also won the 100-meter dash at the 2017 IAAF World Championships in London, becoming the world’s fastest woman.
