A Will Levis Reddit rumor turned the betting markets on their heads with the 2023 NFL Draft prop bet surrounding the No. 1 overall pick seeing some wild movement.
While Alabama‘s Bryce Young seems to be the consensus No. 1 overall pick of the Carolina Panthers, Kentucky’s Will Levis had his line drastically change throughout the morning. Last night, Levis closed the day at 50/1 odds to be the No. 1 overall pick, and by the morning he was listed at 20/1.
By 9:00 a.m. ET, Levis was down to 10/1 odds and ultimately dropped as low as 4/1.
On the post from reddit poster "SaleAgreeable2834," the NFL Draft market has been flipped on its head.
Will Levis to get taken 1st overall at @PointsBetUSA
Last night: 50/1
This morning: 20/1
Last hour: 10/1
Now: 4/1— Darren Rovell (@darrenrovell) April 25, 2023
The rumor, which started by Reddit user “SaleAgreeable2834”, claimed that the person was a friend of the family and Levis was telling his close circle that he was going No. 1 overall.
Ultimately, the line was taken off of the board in some sportsbooks because of the rapid movement of the line.
After temporarily being pulled off of the board, the prop bet became available again with Young as the -1600 favorite to go No. 1 overall. Levis is back to +700, but that is still a far cry from the +5000 that he was listed at just 24 hours ago.
Betting on the No. 1 pick was briefly off the board at some books because of the steam on Will Levis based on a Reddit post. DraftKings has reopened betting with Bryce Young at -1600 and Levis at +700. Levis was +5000 yesterday. https://t.co/IFoUiUYinS

Now that the lines have settled back in, it will be interesting to see whether there is further movement in the upcoming days.
But everyone needs to remember that Levis puts mayonnaise in his coffee, so there should be some questions about him.
The 2023 NFL Draft is set to take place from Thursday, April 27 through Saturday, April 29. The festivities — which will air on ESPN, ABC, and the NFL Network — will be held in the plaza outside of Union Station in Kansas City, Missouri.
