I think I can speak for us all when I say the one thing college football teams do a great job of is bringing the heat when it comes to new uniform ideas and combinations each week. This weekend, the BYU football team will be rolling out a new and unique look that has a subtle piece of brilliance.

The Cougars unveiled their uniform for Saturday’s homecoming game against the Arkansas Razorbacks that put a modern twist on a classic look.

The all-white uniforms feature the classic blue stripes and numbers, but the helmet is where the magic really happens. The customized helmet features the BYU logo on one side along with a hand-painted mountainside, while an oversized cougar is hand-painted on the opposite side.

Check out the teams’ new look below.

The Cougars are bringing a sleek yet simple look as they celebrate homecoming week against Arkansas. One of the cleanest helmets we have seen all season, BYU stuck to the principles that help make any decision easier, K.I.S.S. (Keep. It. Simple. Stupid.)

The parties probably aren’t fun on BYU’s campus, but man, these kids will have plenty to talk about at their next church service. Seriously, does Cougar nation even party?

Kickoff for this weekend’s game between the Cougars and Razorbacks at LaVell Edwards Stadium is set for 3:30 p.m. ET.
