Giannis Antetokounmpo came armed with the jokes and was ready to entertain reporters following the Milwaukee Bucks‘ win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night.
Antetokounmpo showed up to the postgame press conference and decided to keep things light with the media by firing off a joke from a book of dad jokes he brought to the podium with him.
“I came ready. Let’s open up with a joke,” Giannis said. What do you call a cow on the floor? Anybody know?”
After a brief pause, we got the punchline: “Ground beef.”

When you come away with a win, it’s easy to break out the jokes. And it’s something Giannis is familiar with doing. Earlier in the season, Giannis hit reporters with the classic: “When the cows go out, where do they go?” Of course, it’s the “mooooooovies.”
Up next for the Bucks and Giannis is a meeting with the Brooklyn Nets at the Barclays Center on Thursday night.
Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.
