Let’s start with the Western Conference.

Western Conference First Round

Los Angeles Lakers vs. Portland Trail Blazers

The Lakers have had a lot of trouble since the restart of the NBA season. They are the worst three-point shooting team and they also can’t defend the three. They will be facing the ‘bubble’ MVP in the first round who is having a tremendous campaign and is considered one of the best point guards of the game at the moment. Even though Damian Lillard will definitely give the Lakers some problems and steal a game or two, overall, the Lakers are the much better team and I expect them to close things out in 6. Lakers advance, 4-2

Houston Rockets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder

The Rockets live and die by the three. They do have the better roster but Westbrook is expected to miss the first few games of the series. Chris Paul and company will definitely give them some trouble as they have been playing tremendous defense. Unfortunately for them, the same can be said about Houston and I’m leaning towards them even with Westbrook out. Rockets advance, 4-3

Denver Nuggets vs. Utah Jazz

This is very tough to predict. The Nuggets are having issues in the ‘bubble’ and they do not look like the same team. The Jazz, on the other side, lost Bojan Bogdanovic who is their top leading scorer. I expect this to go down to the wire with the Nuggets stealing a game 7 behind a great game by Nikola Jokic. Nuggets advance, 4-3

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Dallas Mavericks

I will be very brief here- Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis have been phenomenal this whole season but the team as a whole is playing very inconsistently. Kawhi might not even play in all games and the Clippers will still get through. Clippers advance, 4-1

Western Conference Semi-finals

Los Angeles Lakers vs. Houston Rockets

This is where the end for the Lakers comes. Anthony Davis and LeBron will have big stat games but the Rockets will bury them once their threes start falling. The Lakers can’t guard this amazing Rockets’ backcourt. Rockets advance, 4-2

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Denver Nuggets

The Clippers are favored because these games will be played in the bubble. Denver might’ve been able to steal a game or two on their home court but Kawhi, George and Williams possess just too much star power. Clippers advance, 4-0

Western Conference Finals

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Houston Rockets

This will be a very interesting series and the Rockets will fight for every inch on the court. It will be a great backcourt battle between the two sides but the Clippers have the better frontcourt and they also have great perimeter defenders that can limit Harden and Westbrook. Clippers advance, 4-2

Eastern Conference First Round

Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers

The 76ers are a very controversial side. They have everything needed, to compete for a title but it seems that they are heading for a first-round exit. The Celtics have a lot of offensive weapons and their chemistry is amazing. Celtics advance, 4-2

Toronto Raptors vs. Brooklyn Nets

The Brooklyn Nets are one of the most interesting teams to watch. However, the Raptors are playing a tremendous defense and have better and more experienced players. I’ll give the Nets a win. Raptors advance, 4-1

Eastern Conference Semi-finals

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Indiana Pacers

The Pacers are not a flashy side and even though they win games, they are not a real contender. Giannis will do a lot of damage to them and the Bucks will have an easy path to the Eastern Conference finals. Bucks advance, 4-1

Boston Celtics vs. Toronto Raptors

This will be a very interesting series and I expect it to go down to the wire. These are two evenly matched teams that can even compete for the NBA title. Boston played well against them even with Kawhi on the Raptors’ roster. The Celtics are the better offensive team and their defense is very underestimated. Celtics advance, 4-3

Eastern Conference Finals

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Boston Celtics

The Celtics have the toughest path to the finals. I think they will be exhausted when this game comes as they will have played 6 games against Philadelphia and 7 against Toronto. Giannis and Khris Middleton will be very well rested and will close the series in 6. Bucks advance, 4-2

NBA Finals

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Los Angeles Clippers

Giannis is a great leader to the Bucks but he lacks support from his side. The Clippers are built to beat LeBron and Giannis’ game is pretty much the same- bad from the perimeter and only effective in the paint. Doc Rivers is a great mastermind who will create a gameplan for him and neutralize him. Clippers win the NBA title, 4-1
