Mitchell Trubisky can’t even catch a break from Chicago during coronavirus. The hits just keep coming and this time it’s from Chipmonks, a Yelp 4-star on Diversey and Pine Grove, near Sheridan. “During this coronavirus outbreak, remember to remain at least 10-feet away from others. If you’re wondering how far that is, picture a Bears wide receiver and then imagine where Trubisky actually threw the pass. That distance is about 10 feet,” the sign reads at Chipmonks.
It appears they used to spell this place ‘Chipmunks.’ Something tells me there was a copyright fight and led to the Chipmonks name. Whatever the case, they are coming for Trubisky and that’s a great way to drum up business these days. Need more restaurants taking shots at guys who underperform.
