Congratulations to Houston Rockets center Isaiah Hartenstein for landing girlfriend Kourtney Kellar, a Houston model who has the Dan Bilzerian Ignite stamp of approval and a career as a Rockstar Energy Girl. It’s a pretty impressive get for Hartenstein considering he was a 1.9 PPG guy a year ago when he started dating Kellar.
Now Hartenstein is up to a 4.7 PPG, 4 RPG guy on a team that doesn’t have use for a 7-footer. In other words, it’s real good to be Isaiah Hartenstein right now….except…today the Rockets sent him down to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in Edinburg, Texas — 337 miles from Ms. Kellar. Buzzkill. If I’m reading his contract correctly, he will make his full $1,416,852 even after the G-League assignment.
Isaiah has to go down, keep his head on straight and work his ass off to get attention from a team that still values a 7-footer and hope the Rockets trade you for another 3-point shooter during the offseason. Maybe you end up on the Knicks with a healthy contract — Kourtney’s coming along for that ride. Worst-case scenario has to be the Rockets stashing you away in Rio Grande and Kourtney moves on with a three-point shooter. Keep your eyes on this one fellas.

The Vipers are schedule to play both on Feb. 21 & 22, @BertOgdenArena.
