You know what you don’t see very often at NCAA Tournament March Madness games these days? You don’t see fans brawling at the top of the stairs, especially when one of the combatants skips his way up the stairs to brawl with what appears to be a Cincinnati fan who was being ejected from Nationwide Arena at the end of the Iowa-Cincinnati game, a game that was pretty much a street fight with bodies flying around and what appeared — from my comfy HQ location — to be an above-average physical game.
Iowa beat Cincinnati 79-72 and advances to face Tennessee on Sunday.
Anybody have video from at the top of the stairs? Video of this one spilling into the concourse? More details on what started it? Let me know.
