Ray Lewis, Randy Moss, Brian Dawkins, Brian Urlacher, and the rest of the 2018 Hall of Fame class probably enjoyed a relaxing day after getting inducted. Not Terrell Owens. The man did his own thing all weekend. He held his own ceremony at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and was back on the field Sunday working out for the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

The day after his Hall of Fame induction ceremony at UTC, Terrell Owens was at South Pittsburg today for an hour-long tryout with Chris Jones, HC & GM of the CFL’s Saskatchewan Roughriders. Story and videos coming to Times Free Press website. pic.twitter.com/5R6uLYsbR2

According to the Times Free Press, TO ran routes for Roughriders head coach and GM Chris Jones at South Pittsburg High School. Jones told media an agent reached out because TO wanted an opportunity, and the day after his induction day happened to be the best time.

From the report:

“I know I’m truly blessed and I can still play the game,” Owens said after the workout. “What I did out there today is just a small little snippet of what I can do. I just appreciate Coach for the opportunity. I guess he wanted to assess and see where I am physically.

“It’s key when you’re trying out to put your best foot forward, and I’m very pleased with what they saw and what I did out there. To be inducted into the Hall of Fame and come back and play, why not me? I know I can do it; it’s just a matter of someone giving me the opportunity.”

TO suiting up in the CFL isn’t a random thing, he discussed the possibility of playing in Canada back in April:

🎥 "I have flirted with the idea… Even as recently as last year."
